چکیده

heat treated In2O3 nanowalls using FULLPROF. [1] A Thompson-Cox-Hastings pseudo-Voigt profile function was used to simulate the In2O3 as well as the SnO2 phase resulting from the FTO substrate. Preferred orientation has been taken into account in all refinements. The final Rietveld refinement plots are shown in Figure 2c-d in the main text. The FTO substrate in both patterns showed a strong preferred orientation in the [200] direction. On the other hand, major differences in the preferred orientation were observed in the two In2O3 samples. 20

Enhanced light-conversion efficiency of titanium- dioxide dye-sensitized solar cells with the addition of indium-tin-oxide and fluorine-tin-oxide nanoparticles in electrode films

We prepared of electrodes that consist of TiO2 with addition of tin-doped indium oxide (ITO) or fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) nanoparticles and the application of such electrodes on dye-sensitized solar cell. As compared to TiO2 alone, the addition of ITO and FTO nanoparticles resulted in an efficiency improvement of ~ 20% up to ~ 54% for the TiO2ITO and TiO2-FTO systems, respectively. This im...

Optical properties of indium tin oxide and fluorine-doped tin oxide surfaces: correlation of reflectivity, skin depth, and plasmon frequency with conductivity

Variable angle reflectance FTIR was used to investigate the reflectance of thin films of either indium tin oxide (ITO) or fluorine-doped tin oxide (SFO) on glass substrates in the mid-IR. The reflectance was observed to depend on the incident angle, wavenumber, and the polarization used. The Drude model and the Fresnel equations for reflection at a single dielectric boundary were used to interp...

Electrochemical deposition of copper oxide nanowires for photoelectrochemical applications

We report a two-step electrochemical process to grow copper oxide nanowires without the use of templates and surfactants. The first step is to electrochemically corrode amorphous Cu–W oxides presputtered on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrates under positive potentials. The second step is to use the corroded samples to grow copper oxide nanowires electrochemically under negati...

Fabrication of TiO2 nanotubes by using electrodeposited ZnO nanorod template and their application to hybrid solar cells

Vertically aligned TiO2 nanotubes have been fabricated on the indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) by a simple and versatile technique using the lectrochemically deposited ZnO nanorods, oriented along the c-axis, as a template in the spin-on based sol–gel reaction of a Ti precursor. The iameter, length, and shape of TiO2 nanotubes were controlled by changing the initial ZnO nanorod template and the spi...
